Wishing Happy Women's Day

The best day, I enjoyed, was while I lived in Ahmadabad.  I was a homemaker then, taking care of my 4 year son Neehar and 1.5 year old Abolee. After my daughter was born, I had stopped working. It was a 24/7 duty and I never remember looking at the calendar for the day or date.  To my luck, my younger brother Paresh had just secured a job at Coca Cola and was living in a palatial guest house little far from Thaltej, where we lived. That morning, I wanted to meet him and leaving my two kids with my in laws, went to Narayanpura. All the while, I was engrossed in my own thoughts. As I reached the place, I was trying to cross the junction and out of nowhere a young lady handed me a beautiful red rose and wished me, "Happy Women's Day".  I was on the moon and really that gesture  reminded me that 'yes', I am of some worth and that the phase, I am in, is just a passing one and I must make the most of this compulsive holiday.
