*चल मेरी लूना* ज्याकाळी पुणे ते मुंबई अंतर पार करायला बाकीच्या रेल्वे गाड्यांना ५ तास लागत हेच अंतर डेक्कन क्वीन पावणे तीन तासात पार करत असे. १ जून १९३० साली सुरु झालेल्या डेक्कनक्वीन कधीच वाफेच्या इंजिनवर चालली नाही. पहिल्या दिवसापासून इलेक्ट्रिक इंजिनावर चालणारी पहिली प्रवासी गाडी, भारतातील पहिली डिलक्स गाडी, पहिली सुपरफास्ट गाडी, एका डब्यातून दुसऱ्या डब्यात जाण्याची सोय असणारी पहिली गाडी, महिलांचा व खानपान सेवेचा स्वतंत्र डबा असणारीही ही पहिलीच गाडी. डेक्कन क्वीनच्या नावावर असे पहिले पणाचे अनेक विक्रम नोंद आहेत. भारतातील मानाची गाडी म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या डेक्कन क्वीनच्या नावे आणखी एक विचित्र विक्रम आहे.   “लुना कडून हरण्याचा विक्रम” लुना कोणाला माहित नाही? पुणेकर फिरोदियांच्या कायनेटिक ग्रुप कंपनीने जपानच्या होंडाच्या सहकार्याने लुनाची निर्मिती केली होती. इटालीयन प्याजिओच्या चिआओ नावाच्या गाडीची ही लायसन्स कॉपी होती. १९७२ साली ही गाडी लॉंच झाली आणि आल्या आल्या भारतभरात या गाडीची हवा सुरू झाली.   वजनाला अगदी हलकी, छोटी सुटसुटीत बाईक सायकलला एक उत्तम पर्याय होती. पुण्यास

Capt. Dipak Sathe Commander of Ill-fated Air India Flight.

*Capt Sathe* He won Sword of honour , 127 Pilot course. Had won president gold medal for Best in flying. Later Test pilot. Exceptional pilot. Qualified Test pilot. Aircraft Aquaplaned due to heavy waterlogging on runway. Brakes totally Non effective. Its hard to believe that Dipak Sathe, my friend more than my cousin, is no more. He was pilot of Air India Express carrying passengers from Dubai in 'Vande Bharat Mission', which skidded off the runway at Kozhikode International Airport yesterday night.  What is learnt is as follows: Landing gears didn't work. Ex IAF pilot made three rounds of airport to empty the fuel. He turned off the engine right before the crash.  He belly landed after the 3rd iteration. The right wing was ruptured. The Pilot martyred but saved life of 180 co-passengers. Deepak was an experienced aerial operator with 36 years of flying experience. *HISTORY OF AYODHYA AND the GENEOLOGY AND FAMILY TREE OF KING RAMA*  Manu founded the city of Ayodhya on the banks of Sarayu River around 13800 BC during the early Vedic era. Rigveda (10.64 & 4.30.18) refers to Sarayu River.   Ayodhya became the capital of Devas during the Deva-Asura Sangram around 13600-12600 BC. Atharvaveda (10.2.31) refers to Ayodhya as the capital of Devas.   Raivata Manu founded his new capital “Kushasthali” in Saurashtra around 12500 BC.   Vaivasvata Manu and his son Ikshvaku and his twelve descendants reigned in Saurashtra and Madhyadesha around 11250-11000 BC.   King Sagara, son of Ikshvaku King Asita shifted his capital from Saurashtra to Ayodhya around 11000 BC when Vedic Sarasvati River lost in sands at Vinashana and the flow of Sarasvati River had shifted westwards from Kurukshetra.   Ayodhya was the capital of India from 11000 BC to 4700 BC and total 60 kings of Ikshvaku dynasty reigned around 11000-5635 BC and Shri Ram was the 61st king.    Treta Yuga
