I perfectly believe in this ideology. I hate when people become victims of their circumstances and accept that this is life.
Day to day I meet many new men and women on account of my legal profession. Except few most of them loose precious time of their life remaining in the problem, fighting in the Courts and cursing their destiny and sulking all throughout.
I believe in life is all about moving on, one must grow above the problem and move on..
I remember, while I was junior with Sri.Sanjeev Kanchan Advocate (Sanjeev Kanchan & Co) in Mumbai, there was this lady typist and clerk who secretly married each other. For two years this marriage was concealed from family and friends, as the typists elder sister was yet to find a suitable match. I was friendly with both of them but blissfully unaware of this secret marriage.
One fine day this clerk came to my residence and narrated his whole story. He was extremely agitated with the typists attitude of postponing to declare their marriage. He requested me to send a divorce notice, however, prior to taking such a harsh step, I preferred to talk to her and convince her about the implications. However, she did not budge, finally having no remedy as instructed, I issued a divorce notice.
This notice was received and the result was her family members immediately arranged for wedding and got both of them married before their society. Happiness all over...
But in the bargain what I got was - insult, hurt and not even the cost of the divorce notice. I was not invited for their marriage and shammed by this typist friend for sending such a notice for ever ( and the clerk agreed to her stand mutely).
I expressed my feelings to my Senior Shri.Sanjeev Kanchan and he told me, just let things go, you may meet many more such people in your life, grow above this incident and carry on life. And I learnt -
