Today after lunch had an afternoon nap, I had set an alarm for 45 mins. The alarm went off and I was about to get up, when Sasha our GSD came rushing down barking loudly. I got up thinking Judie our neighbour must have come out to walk her dogs. That was one reason when both our dogs would bark, as she would let them loose and invariable Grace the boxer would touch her nose to the glass French window. Quiet a scary scene, you see.
Well, I walked down the staircase to check, who might it be and saw Sasha looking out from the glass window towards the main door and barking. I walked to this window and saw an oldish American guy at the door, I requested him to wait for a moment. Then put Sasha in and opened the door. He asked me with some American name and whether she stayed here. He was a thin guy, do not remember the attire he was in, but I saw a black truck standing right in front our house. So seemed like a private vehicle, I asked him, if the house no was correct and he showed me on the letter he was holding as no 8, I answered in the negative and also informed him, no one stayed here with that name even in the recent past. He said okay and I closed the door and he left.
I returned to Sasha and freed her, dressed up and took Jazzy out for a walk. It was a bright sunny day with temperatures exactly similar to Bangalore. She loved walking on the grass and once she was done with her walk, brought her in and took Sasha for a walk.
Oh with Sasha, it's entirely different. She is always ready to play and headed towards the open area, when I told her we are just walking and no play. She is one smart dog and very willing started walking by the side of the pond. We walked past the pond, then the next pond, where she enjoys smelling the trees and going round them. It's a pleasure walking here in U.S., no stray dogs to distract her and no vehicles on the road, it's green and serene with lots of fresh air. She loves to pick up sticks and she actually did one, gave a little push at the elbow, saying throw for me. She loves this one game, throwing sticks and picking them and bring back to me.
We played in the bark park, not so clean, but for a while as I had no choice. After playing for 15 mins, I was ready to wind up, though she wanted to continue this game. We came back strolling home.
Evening narrated the incidence to my husband, of someone knocking at the door and asking for a for a lady, he seemed upset and said, you must always ask for his identity, before revealing any information, you never whole maybe and what his intentions are? I really ran out of my blood.
